Beautiful and segnificant Adriatic wine regions

The Mladina cellar is located in the Bregovita Hrvatska region, in the Plešivica wine-growing subregion near Jastrebarsko. The cellar was built in 1736 by the Erdödy family on the site of Mladina and thus influenced the beginning of the love for winemaking in that area. The Mladina cellar and its excellent wines today were created precisely on the basis of the heritage and experience brought by the Erdödy family with new varieties such as purtugisco, traminer and sauvignon.

The special feature of these vineyards are the unique natural amphitheaters of the southern and southwestern exposures at 200-400 meters above sea level, ideal for growing vines - because good wine is born in the vineyard. The area of the southwestern slopes of the Žumberak mountains and the plots facing south are ideal for viticulture. The climate in this area is continental, but with favourable abundant rainfall and sunny hours which makes it suitable for growing vines.
